Corfu Locations

Corfu Island (also known as Kerkyra) is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Greece, and despite the multitude of visitors it hosts every summer, it  has still managed to retain its traditional character. It is also a large enough island to require either a long vacation or a second visit to experience it to its totality, with more than 50 corfu locations to explore.

Corfu town is the largest and most important town on the island. This is where the airport is located and where most cruise ships and long distance ferries dock. It is a small, pleasant city which can satisfy the demands of the most difficult visitors. Nevertheless, just minutes away from the main tourist center you can get lost from the world and you will be stunned by the lush green mountains and the tiny traditional villages. The North Corfu locations are wider and more mountainous with good pebbly beaches, while the South of the island is less wide and tends to have sandier beaches.

Corfu island offers splendid coastal scenery and some excellent secluded beaches for those who seek some solitude, but it is still a cosmopolitan island, where you can combine relaxation with good times and a full nightlife. Last but not least, Corfu is a paradise for the children. Sun, sea, sports and water parks will keep the little ones happy and the adults even happier. Corfu family holidays are an experience you should all have at least once in your life!
