Dassia Corfu

weather forecast by weather.gr

Dassia Corfu is located on the east coast of the island, just 15km from Corfu town. The name Dassia originates from the Greek word “dasos” which means forest, and even today the most prominent feature of the area is the beauty of the trees that cover the headlands and bays.

Dassia Corfu is a beautiful resort which is popular with young people seeking a little bit of excitement and a lot of atmosphere. During the day enjoy the long shingle and pebble beach - swim in the calm sea, discover the areas’ secret coves and let the sun slowly warm your skin and soul. Dassia Beach is famous for its watersports facilities, and the flat water is particularly excellent for windsurfing.

Evening entertainment in Dassia is relaxed, laid back and varied. There are no clubs, but there are two very lively disco bars that are open well into the early hours. There are also interesting bars on the beach. Last but not least, Dassia Corfu will surprise you pleasantly with its diverse dining options. You will find a great variety of quality restaurants offering a good selection ranging from unique Corfiot dishes to Italian and Indian, as well as plenty of tavernas to choose from.
