Ipsos Corfu is located on the northeast coast of the island, 15 km from Corfu town and the airport. Ipsos is set against the dramatic backdrop of Pantokratoras mountain, while at the same time it offers stunning views over the Albania coastline. Ipsos and its neighbouring resort, Pyrgi, are situated on a wide, beautiful bay, and together they are called the Golden Mile.
Ipsos had quite a reputation some years ago for being a party resort, packed with young party animals. It still remains a very lively resort, but there is also a quieter side near the harbour that caters to the needs of couples and families. Ipsos Corfu provides various activities for all tastes, which is why it is one of the island's most popular resorts.
The long, narrow beach of Ipsos Corfu is a mixture of sand and shingle and offers a superb selection of water sports. Near the seaside you will find a large variety of tavernas and restaurants, serving British grub and Greek food, as well as a great range of bars and discos that stay open till the early morning hours.
Last but not least, there is plenty to see in Ipsos Corfu besides the beach and the bars. Explore the villages and towns inland or sail round its coastline to discover its beautiful beaches. Nevertheless, even if you never leave the resort, you will definitely have a good time in Ipsos.
