Nissaki Corfu

weather forecast by weather.gr

Nissaki Corfu is a quaint resort on the northeast coast of Corfu Island. Nissaki which means “little island” in Greek owes its name to the fact that in the past it was really a small rocky island that eventually through the years joined the main land. Today Mitsos Taverna stands on the rock that was once that “little island”.

Nissaki Corfu remains a non-commercial peaceful resort promising relaxing family holidays. The village provides unique scenery and an escape from city life. During the day you can enjoy water sports, hire a boat, or walk the Nissaki Corfu trail. At night, small bars are open to offer drinks and refreshments, while there are no night clubs and loud music. However, young couples may also enjoy the area as there are livelier options just a few kilometers further up, in Kassiopi or down to Ipsos.

Nissaki Corfu offers everything you need in order to be totally pleased during your holidays. Swimming can be extremely pleasurable at the pebbly Nisaki beach with its crystal clear waters. There are many small secret coves around and you can choose the one you like the most. There is a great variety of good food in the taverns of the area, where you may taste the local dishes, fresh fish and sea food typical dishes of Greek and international cooking.
